Jesus chose Judas as one of His disciples, just as he did the other eleven, Jesus treated him the same way he did the eleven. Everywhere Jesus went, he went with Him, he was in Jesus’ inner circle; he was Jesus’ friend. He was even considered to be trustworthy, because he was the one who kept the money bag.

He was not discriminated against, he ate on the same table with the Master, and the same treatment the other eleven got, he got. He slept where Jesus slept and was involved with Jesus in ministry, up to the point of betrayal.

For three years Judas was with and around Jesu, he saw all the miracles Jesus performed, and participated in all the activities the other disciples participated in during the course of Jesus ministry. He knew Jesus because he was needed to identify Jesus to the guards of the High Priest.

All this time, Jesus knew who he was, Jesus knew what he would do, that he would betray him; yet, it still didn’t stop Jesus from loving him the same way He loved the others. Jesus was never unfair to him during the three years of His ministry on earth.

Yet! all the while, Judas never opened his mouth to speak or to air his concerns or misgivings. He chose rather to be quiet and continue / pretend as if nothing was wrong, he chose to listen to what outsiders were saying and to respond accordingly, he chose to betray Jesus. And afterwards, He still chose the wrong way out when he realized his mistake.

This shouldn’t be your story, you can do better. Jesus loves you; His hands are open wide, it’s been open wide since over two thousand years ago. Jesus does not discriminate or responds to you the way a man would, He understands and is waiting. All you have to do is come. Don’t make the same mistake Judas did, Just Come, tell Him how it is and how you feel, choose LOVE; Jesus Christ is LOVE!
