Don’t Abort!

Don’t Abort!

“Ye have not yet resisted unto blood,…”

Hmm! The thought of ending it all, to just throw in the towel, always seem the better option doesn’t it.

That school admission you have tried so hard to get, that seems like it won’t come through. That exam you have written over and over and yet you are not getting the result you desire. That Job you have been at all these years, and it’s not looking like a promotion is anywhere in sight or maybe your case is that everything you ever got in life, always came with a struggle or challenge, and now you are just done, you are just tired of fighting. Is yours an unwanted pregnancy, and you are asking, ‘God, how did this happen’? Or maybe it’s not even your first time. You may have even aborted before, don’t abort this one. Or is yours a reoccurring symptom, or a reoccurring sickness that has refused to heal. Or maybe yours is giving up your fight to quit that addiction you know is killing you.

I am here to inform you that aborting is not the solution, don’t give up on that dream, that great idea, don’t give up on God.

Jesus is not just a man, He is God – yet He suffered shame and disgrace, and was crucified like a criminal. Jesus being God already knew ahead of time all that would happen to Him, yet, He lay down His life, no one took it from Him, He chose to walk that path of shame and disgrace, to redeem man back to God. “Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls”.

Jesus has already shed His blood, know this and know peace.

There is no need for you to have to shed your blood in this fight. All you need to do is to resist the devil and he will flee. You need to fight the good fight of faith.

Only the strong keep going, and if you have Jesus, you can cast your burden on Him for He cares for you. He will lighten the burden and show you the way you should take, He will tell you what to do and lead you through.

It is imperative that you fight, and win the battle in your mind, because the battle starts first in the mind. Therefore, you need to feed your mind with the word of God, and to meditate on His Word. If you are starved, you will not have strength to fight.

Get knowledge, get understanding, read up. In addition, seek professional help if you have to; but don’t you dare stop.

Don’t give up! Don’t abort!
