Feelings VS The WORD
There was a man, is name was Abraham; when he was Seventy-five years old, God appeared to him. God told him to leave his home, and go on a journey to a land, He God, was going to show him. He was already married to a very beautiful woman, they didn’t have any children at the time, yet God promised him that he was going to make him into a great nation, that He, God was going to make him a blessing; he obeyed God, and started the journey. While on the journey (A very adventurous, intriguing, very long journey): God showed him the land He was going to give to his numerous yet unborn descendants, God also Tested him, He faced diverse challenges, fought some battles, endured mocking, and was also blessed in riches, servants, cattle etc. Even though one may say that Mr. Abraham’s life was one full of so many uncertainties, delay and some seemingly unfulfilled promises and differs challenges etc; yet this man obeyed God, every step of the way. Twenty-five years later, he was now a hundred years old and his wife was ninety years old, His wife bore him, his Son of promise – Isaac. Until he died, he hadn’t seen the promised ‘numerous descendants’. Nevertheless, him dying did not stop the Word of God from being fulfilled. Abraham is the Father of Nations, Peoples and Kingdoms as numerous as the stars in the sky.
The Word of God has been tested, and has been proven to be true, through all generations.
The way you feel does not, and cannot change the WORD of God. He is “…the same yesterday, today and forever”.
He cannot change.
The way you are feeling right now, and your current reality is transient, it does not matter how long the situation may seem to last for, it cannot last forever.
Bear in mind that human desires, wants and needs are transient and limited.
You should not depend on your feelings, neither should you depend on man, because the best of men can fail. The One who created the heavens and the earth even declared it; “while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” As long as the earth remains, different seasons will come, different seasons will go; no one season last forever. But not God, He remains the same, He cannot change, neither can He deny Himself, His Word never fails. “Forever, O LORD, Your, word is settled in heaven”.
So, why not believe and trust in the infallible Word of God that has been, from before the beginning. He remains the same and His promise of Love to us is never going to change; “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you”. No matter what may be, He can never change. His Promises are Yes and Amen. Not just in this world, but also in the world to come eternal life. The Word of God is: TRUTH, DEPENDABLE, REAL!
God is faithful, His Word surely comes to pass, He can never lie. Every jot of God’s Word, comes to pass. The Word of God transcends Time, it is not Time bound, nor feelings based.
He is the one who created seasons, that is used to measure time. He is TIME. Time is in His Hands
All you have to do is to only believe on Jesus, by surrendering your life to him. Then begin to live according to His leading by studying the Word of God (He has given us the Holy Bible; you get to know more about Him in the Bible, and by listening to The Holy Spirit that has been promised to all who believe and accept Him)
JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD
