OH DEATH, WHERE IS THY STING?

One would begin to wonder, what’s all the fuss about this resurrection story and Easter!?

Well, there is no record anywhere on earth of any man ever rising from the dead, who is also still alive, except for Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Since He arose, He lives forever and ever and ever. He is The Resurrection and He is Life.

People have over the centuries tried to prove that he did not rise, but there is no evidence anywhere that He didn’t. Rather, different proofs and testimonies abound that point to the fact that He indeed arose. Death could not hold Him down! He conquered the grave! “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy” victory?.

Easter is about the finished work of Christ, His death and His Resurrection. It has nothing to do with eggs or bunnies. It is about the celebration of the Resurrected Lord who went through all He went through because of LOVE! He suffered all, to redeem man back to God. If Jesus did not die, and if He did not rise, we would have been lost without hope, dammed for all eternity. Hallelujah! Rejoice greatly, He arose.

Therefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth”.

He is Lord of all! He is Lord over all!

The joy of this celebration is the victory that Jesus won for all humanity!
